BUILD V. IGNITE
NOVEMBER 6-7 | THE W ATLANTA DOWNTOWN
Bank Innovation, the fintech news source, presents two events annual: Build and Ignite. Each offers particular value to its attendees. And each is one half of a two-event whole that is designed to making the banking innovation industry better.
Build, on Nov. 6-7 in Atlanta, helps attendees understand how to “do” innovation better. It is designed to offer best practices on innovation, to guide the innovation professional to better results. While new technologies color all innovation practices, we don’t necessarily explore those new technologies at Build – that's what Ignite is for. Rather, Build is the practitioner’s event, the conference where the “how” of banking innovation is explored.
Ignite, next March in Seattle on the other hand, delves into the new technologies of the day. What is happening in digital banking? What are fintech startups pursuing? What is the future of banking technology? These are all questions Ignite answers. However, Ignite does not necessarily assess the best protocols and procedures for implementing these new technologies – that's what Build does. If Build is the “how” of banking innovation, Ignite is the “what” of banking innovation. Both are crucial. Each is worthy of its own event.
Here’s a rundown of some of the distinctions between the event in table form:
